MEA-I wins NMC Judges’ choice award!

MEA-I won the Judges’ choice award at the New Media Consortium Conference this June!

This year MEA-I participated in the NMC 2010 Conference in Los Angeles to compete in the NMC Interactives session and to learn about developments in the field of creative online teaching and learning.

To win the award, MEA-I showcased its online approach to entrepreneurship education, with a focus on its serious games, its Blended Training of Trainers platform, the new LIFE Curriculum, as well as the HP LIFE Program as a whole.

The Judges’ choice was based on the visual impact, educational relevance, supporting materials, and creativity of content and presentation – a challenging list of criteria to meet! – but MEA-I won not only the Judges’ award but the highest compliments of many of those present!

The New Media Consortium (NMC - www.nmc.org) is an international not-for-profit consortium of learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies.

NMC members are highly regarded colleges and universities, as well as leading museums, key research centers, and other institutions.

This time, MEA-I competed against fifteen other participants, including Harvard, USC, Georgetown, Michigan, and other leading American universities.

This is MEA-I second significant award in the sphere of online education, after winning the prestigious iLearning Provider award at the iLearning Forum in Paris in 2009.
